Description

Dentons’ Notary Services practice is ambitious and fast-growing, offering the possibility for candidates to develop, grow and work in an international environment. To further strengthen the team we are looking for a Junior Candidate Civil Law. We offer realistic, high quality bespoke solutions. Our team covers a broad range of areas and sectors and works closely together with other specialists within our Amsterdam office, including Real Estate , corporate and tax lawyers.

Our civil-law notaries assist Dutch and international investors, private equity funds, developers, real estate funds, banks and other financial institutions as well as family offices and high net worth individuals.

The practice which currently has an opening is especially interesting for candidates who have affinity with corporate law and commercial real estate. Multidisciplinary cases come across quite often. Candidates who have affinity with family-owned businesses and matters related to that such as estate planning are also most welcome to apply for this position.

We have extensive experience in advising on transactional work in a national and international setting. As regards to corporate law our civil-law notaries assist with (cross border) mergers, reorganizations and restructurings, as well as the establishment of specific contractual forms of cooperation.

Furthermore, in relation to real estate our firm has a historic reputation in the field of specialized notarial work such as the division into apartment rights, establishment of restricted rights and real estate financing.

Who are we?

Our (candidate) civil law notaries and staff members have diverse interests. They like to go out for bowling nights (together), do several types of sports, enjoy their holidays far away or very close to home and live both in Amsterdam and the more rural parts. This makes our team truly close-knit. We look after each other in order to stay safe, healthy and happy in order to make our work enjoyable.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Notarial Law
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Commercial awareness and solution-oriented
